Last year, the JHMA held the "1st Japan-Hong Kong International Music Competition" in July, which helped to strengthen young people’s connection within the Asian regions, while at the same time allowed the young Asian youth to directly experience and rediscover Japanese culture. Japan has a strong influence to Asian countries in the field of classical music, in terms of both its experience and knowledge.
