2017 Autumn Conferment of Decoration Mr. Tetsuichiro MIZOGUCHI

                
     On 3rd November, 2017, the Government of Japan announced the recipients of the 2017 Autumn Imperial Decorations. Mr. Tetsuichiro MIZOGUCHI, Chairman of Hong Kong Kagoshima Exchange Association, received the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays in recognition of his remarkable contributions towards the promotion of friendship between Japan and China as well as Japanese language.
              
Summary of Contributions
     Mr. Tetsuichiro MIZOGUCHI has served as Chairman of Hong Kong Kagoshima Exchange Association since it was founded in 1999. His efforts to promote exchanges cover a wide range of areas, such as sports, arts and culture, education, etc. These contributions leads to strengthen the relationship between Japan and Hong Kong, to expand the exchanges among students of Japan and Hong Kong as well as the exchanges with Kagoshima.
     Mr. MIZOGUCHI has also been assuming an important role in promoting the Japanese language and culture by donating to the Community College of City University and the Chinese university of Hong Kong for the scholarships of Japanese language education and cultures.
     Mr. MIZOGUCHI was awarded the Japanese Foreign Minister’s Commendations for the FY 2015.
