Office Hours during Typhoons and Rainstorms
1. In the event of Adverse Weather Warnings (Signal 8 or above, Black Rainstorm Warning, Extreme Conditions) and advanced warnings:
(1) If any advanced warning before 7am or Adverse Weather Warning before noon is issued, the Consulate will be temporarily closed in the morning.
(2) If the above warnings are not lifted by noon, or if they are issued in the afternoon, the Consulate will be closed for the whole day.
(3) If the above warnings are lifted before noon, in general, the Consulate will open two hours after the warning is lifted (Please note that if the warning is lifted between 10:00am to 11:30am, the Consular Service Counters will open at 1:30pm).
2. The notification of the opening status of the Consular Service Counters, in the event of various warnings, will be shared via Consular e-mail as necessary.
