　　On 3rd November 2019, the Government of Japan announced the foreign recipients of the Reiwa 1 Autumn Imperial Decorations. Dr. MONG Tak Yeung, David has been awarded the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Neck Ribbon. Details are as follows.

　　After taking up the post as the President of the Japan Society of Hong Kong in 2014, Dr. MONG has organised various events related to Japanese culture and has contributed to promoting cultural exchanges between Japan and Hong Kong.
 
　　Moreover, as the Chairman and CEO of Shun Hing Group, Dr. MONG understands the importance of the economic partnership between Japan and Hong Kong and has been supporting the distribution of Japanese products and Japanese companies throughout his career. He has hugely contributed to the enhancement and development of the economic relationship between Japan and Hong Kong.
