Mr. CN Yuen, PACKAGE TOURS (HONG KONG) LIMITED, Managing Director and CEO, Awarded the Foreign Minister's Commendation for FY 2018

              
              Mr. CN Yuen, PACKAGE TOURS (HONG KONG) LIMITED, Managing Director and CEO has been awarded the Foreign Minister’s Commendation for FY 2018.
 
              As the CEO of PACAKGE TOURS (HONG KONG) LIMITED, Mr. CN Yuen has contributed enormously in building the relation between Japan and Hong Kong. He has initiated a Tohoku tour in August 2011 after the Great East Japan Earthquake, who was the first travel agent in Hong Kong to do so. In January one year later, Mr. CN Yuen opened an antenna shop in Hong Kong selling products from the Tohoku region. An amount of HKD200,000 sales revenue from the shop was donated to the Tohoku Tourism Promotion Organisation. Mr. CN Yuen also resumed tours to Fukushima after the radiation level at surrounding Fukushima returned normal, and he continued to give support and eliminate the damage caused by rumors. Furthermore, Mr. CN Yuen resumed tours to Kumamoto in November, 2017, where transportation and flights have been suspended due to the 2016 Kumamoto earthquake.
            
              The Foreign Minister’s Commendations are awards for individuals and groups who have made outstanding achievements in international fields, in order to acknowledge their contributions to the promotion of friendship between Japan and other countries and regions. Some 205 individuals and 49 groups have been awarded this year, including Mr. Yuen.
 
　           The Foreign Minister’s Commendation Awarding Ceremony for Mr. Yuen will be held later in Hong Kong.
