On 17th January, Ambassador Jun MIURA, Consul-General of Japan, paid a courtesy call on the Commissioner of Police of the Hong Kong Police Force, Mr Raymond SIU Chak-yee. During the meeting, Ambassador MIURA reiterated the request to ensure the safety of Japanese nationals, exchanged views on promoting exchanges and cooperation between Japan and Hong Kong, as well as on the security situation in Hong Kong.
