Ikenobo Hong Kong Chapter awarded the Consul-General’s Commendation

 
The Consul-General’s Commendation presentation ceremony for the Ikenobo Hong Kong Chapter was held on 8^th July 2025 and the award was presented by Ambassador MIURA Jun, Consul-General of Japan in HongKong.
 
The Consul-General’s Commendation is an award presented by Ambassadors/Consuls-General, in respective countries and regions, to individuals or groups who have contributed to the promotion of mutual understanding and friendship between Japan and foreign countries and regions.
 
Since its establishment in 1996, the Ikenobo Hong Kong Chapter has carried out various activities in Hong Kong to promote ikebana, one of Japan's representative cultures, and has contributed greatly to the promotion and understanding of Japanese culture among Hong Kong people.
 
The Consul-General’s Commendation was presented to acknowledge the Ikebana International Hong Kong Chapter’s significant achievements.
