Mr. Naoyuki SATO awarded the Consul-General’s Commendation
The Consul-General’s Commendation presentation ceremony for Mr. Naoyuki SATO, Chef of Ootoya Hong Kong, was held on 18 November, 2020, and the award was presented by Mr. Mitsuhiro WADA, Ambassador and Consul-General of Japan.
The Consul-General’s Commendation is an award presented by Ambassadors/Consul-Generals in respective countries and regions to individuals or groups who have contributed to the promotion of mutual understanding and friendship between Japan and foreign countries and regions.
Mr. SATO came to Hong Kong in 1994 and since then, he has contributed much in expanding Japanese cuisine in Hong Kong. The Consul-General’s Commendation was therefore presented to acknowledge Mr. SATO’s significant achievement.
