Conferment Ceremony for Spring 2024 recipient, Mr Winfried Engelbrecht-Bresges

 

　The Conferment Ceremony for the Spring 2024 recipient, Mr Winfried Engelbrecht-Bresges, Chair of the International Federation of Horseracing Authorities, was held on 2^nd July 2024 and the conferment certificate and the decoration of the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Neck Ribbon, were presented by Mr Kenichi OKADA, Ambassador and Consul-General of Japan.
 
　Mr Engelbrecht-Bresges received the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Neck Ribbon for his contribution to developing bilateral relations through exchanges and the development of the horse racing industries of both Japan and Hong Kong.
　
　Ambassador OKADA once again expressed his gratitude for Mr Engelbrecht-Bresges’s contribution to the improvement of the global status of Japan in the horseracing industry, the enhancement of the value of Japanese horses and the development of the horse racing industry in Japan. In return, Mr Engelbrecht-Bresges also responded by showing his appreciation to all related parties and people both in Japan and Hong Kong. The atmosphere was warm-hearted throughout the ceremony.
