The Consulate-General of Japan in Hong Kong is recruiting one local staff member (clerk). The job description and application procedure are as follows.
 
1. Date of recruitment: Scheduled for early July 2025 (Negotiable)
 
2. Number of recruits: 1
 
3. Job description: The employee will be engaged mainly in the Consular Division in support of Japanese nationals and counter service, in addition, responsible for security service after being hired. In the future, the employee may be assigned to work in different departments.
 
4. Qualifications
(1) Applicants must be eligible to work in Hong Kong.
(2) Native Japanese, English and Chinese (Cantonese, Putonghua) at business level or above. (Japanese-Language Proficiency Test: N1 or equivalent, IELTS: Band 7)
(3) Able to prepare business-level documents using Microsoft Office, etc.
 
5. Benefits
(1) Salary: To be determined in accordance with the salary regulations.
(2) Working hours: Weekdays (except Saturdays, Sundays and holidays) 9:00-17:45 (Lunch break 12:30-13:30)
